Randy Wasstrom, who has an extensive background in vehicle and equipment operations, saw a gap in the local industry. He realized that British Columbia’s Lower Mainland was missing a heavy-equipment operator training school. Randy had worked for the Department of Highways and the Motor Vehicle Branch as well as driving truck in northern BC; he knew driving and safe operations and he believed he could train others. Lois, Randy’s wife, was a high school teacher and offered to help Randy build a school for professional drivers.
